Nice to Meet You!

I love to write.

Born and raised in rural north Texas, I started off narrating stories to my parents. Now, I freelance from my home in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, where I live with my wonderful husband and our son.

I earned my bachelor's degree in journalism from Patrick Henry College in northern Virginia. With Washington, D.C. just down the road, I completed the National Journalism Center program and spent a year working as a talk radio producer for WMAL. God's grace brought me back to the Lone Star State, where I first worked as a writer for the religious freedom law firm First Liberty Institute, and then as a staff writer for The Stream

I cover topics that I'm passionate about — life, family, religious freedom, and living faithfully for Christ in today's culture. I've spoken about my writing on radio programs such as Point of View, the Line of Fire with Dr. Michael Brown, the Lars Larson Show, multiple local talk shows around the nation, and have appeared as a guest on The Blaze TV.

There are a few things I'm always up for: hopping in the truck for a country cruise, reading a good book, and writing a good story.

On this site, you can find my latest published articles, read more about my life on my personal blog, and contact me to talk about writing for your blog or publication or appearing as a guest on your show.

Thanks for visiting!
